Okay...it's March...and typical weather for this time of year is rain or snow...oh yeah...and WIND!
So my little family went to visit our friends Aaron and Shannon...we were just sitting in their living room chatting when we heard the town siren go off...
..."that's weird we said to our selves"....and ignored it....
When we got home we turned the tv on to check if our favorite shows were recording for future use...and the news was on....SPECIAL WEATHER REPORT...funnel clouds were sighted in our neck of the woods! And a tornado warnining/watch was in effect.
So the siren we heard was a warning for us to take cover! Duh!!!

Have you lived out of town for a while. I was in the basement scrapbooking and no one joined me. We don't take it that serious either.
when it goes off here...we go out to look to see if we can see the tornado. DUH!!
We had a tornado just south of town here on Sunday. Our power went out early Sunday morning AND halfway through cooking dinner for the missionaries! Both times it was out a little over an hour.
